  • A great book for kids and grownups both

    By Belfurious
The mark of a truly great children's book is that it appeals equally well to both kids and the grownups reading to them. That's hard to do and it's why books like the Giving Tree have such longevity. Flatmunder nails it for both this grown up and his two kids with compelling images, great characters, and a profound message that is at once utterly clear and subtle in its execution. This is one of the most-requested books by my kids' at bedtime and I don't get tired of it either. Get it!
